Picture below is the rear of the edge bracket that mounts to the side of the bag. Going to try 3/4" rubber washers first.

haven't been around for awhile, come back and this is what I find?  Glad to hear you are ok (for the most part).  Get better and lets see what Ares X Raider 3.0 has in store for us.

Technical Discussion / Tsukayu Strong Bag / Edge bracket
« on: Mar 03, 2014, 07:45:45 AM »
I stumbled on a set of used Tsukayu bags on ebay awhile back and wanted to re-use my edge brackets from my current bags.  From what I have figured out so far, they should work as the bags have a flat mounting surface as shown on their website.  Main thing I need to figure out is what to do about the bolt heads on the mounting surface of the bracket to the bag.

I was thinking of using some self adhesive felt circles around the bolt heads, or maybe rubber washers.  Thoughts? Comments?

I always thought they were woodcocks.  Now I know.

I feel like I would have ruined it. I get too excited about new things

I'm glad one of us is testing it... not me...

Jhow-You never know I might have a few spares-I only need 1 for my Raider lol
I like the sounds of that....

Machined a couple shift linkages, what do you think? Anything you would change on it?

Yeah I would put them on my raider instead

Ok.... how bout I take you Snipe hunting?

if you're serious, i'd sooooo do it !!!

i've never been hunting before - ever.

i want to track something, shoot it, mount it up and learn how to strip it....

at least just once so i can say that i've put a round through a big ol animal.....

what's worse is i didnt think anything of it because we have shot snipe here.  They sometimes comes into duck decoys

Thanks everyone!

I looked at it for a few minutes before I started my snowmobile.

Head on down! We can meet up at Twin Peaks.  They provide for snowmobiles too.
That's awesome! We are looking at -20 tomorrow so I might have to trailer it...

bet they will be a B%^$# to get the wires through, and in Mississippi anything over 10" from the mounting point is going to get you a ticket according to the law here.
South Dakota is anything higher than your shoulder. Do they still the victory high ball in Mississippi?

RavenRaider- Who'd you order through?  Is the height correct? Because those look really tall.

They are 16"s. They're just right for me when I'm on it.
How tall are you? I'm looking between 16 and 18"
