Which cover fits with the raider with the passenger back rest and luggage rack on? And is it trailerable?

I just got a Dowco Guardian Weatherall Plus also for my new 2014. I am putting on a small 15" windshield and they suggested the XL which is what I got. It fits great on the bike with plenty of room but I don't have the windshield on yet. You may need to go with the XXL since the backrest and luggage rack?

I found out it won't hurt to go a little bigger, so i would get the xxl in most covers, but I hope you're not talking about open trailer cause you will beat all the paint off your bike. Repeat I would not put cover on bike on trailer going down the road you will regret it!!!!!

:agree: A cover on a bike on an open trailer will make you very unhappy  >:( - I wouldn't even put a cover on it in an enclosed trailer, all it takes is it to be touching somewhere that you missed and rubs the paint off  >:(.

De400 05xx nelson rigg from dennis kirk.

I used their online cover selector and the cover they recommended was one size too small so the exchanged for free and didnt charge me freight to return or ship.   This was in Jan 2015 so they may have updated their selector.

I have a cobra backrest and luggage rack.   No shield right now but believe it will be fine with a medium shield.

With the first cover, it seemed the length of the bike was the biggest concern because it was very hard to stretch cover all the way on.

Luckily I have a garage so no cover needed and if it's on a trailer it will never have a cover on it open or closed.

I have a cover that I use only when doing wood working in the garage, otherwise the bike sits uncovered and never get covered when riding on a trailer.  The same is true with the four wheeler, except for when I go hunting, then my camo cover goes on when not riding, just to hide the big red object, makes it match the camo tent and keeps other hunters from spotting it.  I don't care if the moose sees it. :D

I have a cheap cover that came with the bike only use it in garage to keep dust off. It is light tent like material but seems to breath well enough in somewhat heated garage

I've also got the Dowco Guardian XL.
Fits the bike just fine, including windshield and backrest.  no problems there.
the Dowco is pretty tough ... it's a rugged cover.

it does tend to be heavy and bulky - takes up a lot of room in saddlebags.
But maybe that's the deal ... it ain't flimsy.

I have the same one - for over two years.  My bike lives outside in the heat and cold. This cover has held up just fine.

Does the Dowco cover the tires and wheels completely?

I have the Yamaha Boulevard wind shield and the cover leaves the front wheel exposed by about 3 inches on the right side and more is showing on the left side with the bars locked to the left.
I have a set of Edge Mount bags on and my rear wheel is completely covered
