No ride today.  About 20 degrees with 3 inches of really wet snow on the roads.  Worth it to keep the Raider parked as we need the moisture so bad here.  Should be out and riding again In the next couple of days depending on when the sun comes out to dry up things.

Today was a day or much needed snow got about an inch and a half.  Of course snow means warmer weather for us ;D it was up to 10 above.  So, I fored up the wheeler cleaned the driveway and took a little ride around the neighborhood enjoying the beauty of glistening snowflakes reflecting in the headlights.  After an hour I pulled bac into the garage and thought about how if the weather stays this warm I can another evening ride tomorrow.  Such is life at the North Pole ;).

Got another 2 inches of the white stuff, considered pulling the raider out of the garage and attempting a ride up and down the driveway, but was afraid that I would not get the raider back into the garage.  But I rode the 4 wheeler until I had ice cycles hanging off my nose, mustache, and beard.

We got 10" of snow so I'm focused on my snowmobile now.  Except for the parts I'm ordering for the Raider that is.
I have big plans...

I was going to cage it because of temps in the 20's (yes, I'm a wuss when it comes to cold - I'm from Texas, not the Arctic). But due to a last minute flat tire last night, and my wife needing the SUV I had to ride this morning. Not as bad as I thought. Bundled up nice and warm in many layers, but even the Stay-Puff Marshmallow Man looks cool on a Raider.  ;D

We didn't have that cold, but it was around 39° this morning on my way to work.  I added my extra liner inside the jacket and my gloves were plugged in.

Well it is that time of year.  Got another 4inches of the white stuff overnight.  Went to work, came home, got out the 4wheeler cleaned the drive way, loaded up the car, went to the airport and am now waiting to board the plane for Seattle, then Boise, get the rental car and head over to Utah and spend time with kids and grandson then return to North Pole on the 23rd, then comes December 24th and the real work starts.

Even I look good bundled up for winter when I am on the Raider. ;D

Sounds like my winter weather headed south, no wonder it has been above 0 the past few days.  But worry not a recall of the cold has been placed and North Pole is suppose to return to normal winter temperatures around 50 before by the week end so you guys should be good to go riding.  Who knows It may be nice enough down south that I can get in a day of riding, does anyone in the Salt Lake area rent out Raiders or will I be stuck with Renting Harwee?

Our cold is supposed to be leaving soon. By the end of the week we'll have temps back in the 70's here in Texas. Sounds like you're right about the "weather recall." I don't know Salt Lake, but I have never found/heard of anyone renting Raiders. It's mostly Harleys and Goldwings that I've heard of.
