At best it is still 2 months before the riding season hits here.  That being said there sure is a lot of bike talk going on in the plumbing world here.  But the goofiest thing of all is I bought some raffle tickets and find myself hoping to win of all things a Harley Wide Glide.  Would be the best or maybe worst $50 I ever spent.

How could that be bad?  If you win you could at least sell it for $100.00 and double your money...  :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Holy crap, I was thinking the same thing as soon as I read his post !!!!!!!  :rotfl:

It was a balmy 40F here in Reno today so I took advantage and rode down to my favorite Temple of All Things Manly and had a cigar with my brother.  It was a cold ride and the Raider was reluctant to start at first, but we were both glad we did it.

I can not wait for the warmer weather!

Was windy and hi 40's. Yard had dried out enough I could reach road So we did around 60 miles Turned over 8000 on way home.  Felt great to ride again  Topped a 100 on a back stretch on way home.
I fell  over my dog in dark  just before Christmas and hurt shoulder arm and leg in fall . Leg still bruised and arm  hurts  yet. My Doctor thinks shoulder might need operation . Have appointment  1week of Feb  with specialist . . So glad to ride today  Now paying for it but was worth it  just to feel power of the Raider under me again.  Next week to be COLD.  So baby all clean and covered up and on charger

You guys who can ride this time of year are so very fortunate.  Well I did not win the Harley, but the money went to a good cause and I don't have to spend time de-oiling my garage floor. ;D
SLK   I ride a Yamaha Star  Motorcycle or I ride nothing at all.

Bonus day here, 60*.  Busted the Raider out, got about 30 miles.  Practiced some speed shifting, clutch feels good with 5,100 miles.

51 and sunny after a low this morning of 19.  Wasn't too bad, face and ears got a little cold, but my bad as haven't got the full face out of it's bag yet this year.  Turned 29,000 miles today.

Okay so I just have to litter train the Harley.

No riding today but after church all the riders were at the back discussing the approaching riding season, and the possible acquisition of new and sales of present rides.

Over 60 degrees at noon today, but will be only in the 40's for highs the rest of the week.  I had to get a ride in so I did 2.5 hours on narrow 2-lane roads.  Sweet, just a little traffic.  Zippy liked it too.

See "Oh Its a Yamaha" for some details.

Rode with some friends to Hooter for lunch at South 59 of Houston. The weather was awesome, about 60 deg with bright sunshine  :)
It was about 80 miles round trip for me. Love it.

After failing to get the baffles out of my Cobras, I decided a ride was in order!!!!!! About 70 degrees out. Saw ton of other bikes on the roads.
