I have been trying to re install my rear tire after replacing the tire and I am having the hardest time getting this to go back on. I have no problem with the belt side. The brake side doesn't seem to want to go back in. It is hitting the calipers. I did drop the calipers when I took it off and its still off , its the other bracket that slides in the swing-arm that isn't cooperating. the bottom of the bracket is hitting the rotor. I have tried to angle it every way that I can to try and clear it but nothing seems to help. Does anyone have an easier way to reset this.

Yes......step away from the bike....drink a cold one......then proceed......  :cheers:

It is a bit challenging, but you can do it.  And once you've done it, it'll be faster the next time.

Try getting on the ground behind it. Put your legs on both sides of the tire . Lift the tire with your knees and your hands are free to wiggle it back in. This is how I do it. Maybe this will help?

so is it easier to raise the wheel up and drop it down on the bracket for the brakes. I think that my bike lift will go up to 19 inches.

Was finally able to get my rear tire back on. Was alot easier coming off. Pulled off one side of the balancing weights, didn't realize that until I found it on the bottom of my shoe. Going to get the dyna beads tomorrow.

Deadman rise. I am havein kinda the same trouble. But the dang brake caliper bracket will not go on their . I have the bike lifted up on a motorcycle jack . Any tips ?

Same for me, it's not easy to put it back, specialy if you have changed the stock tire with the 240 or 250.
All that you have to do is to keep trying, finaly you will find the correct position to put it back.
But, most important is to remember that position for the next time ... ;)

Man, you guys are really making me want to wrestle with my rear tire, with my luck the dang thing will pin me...  :o

Well . I finally figured out how to do it. When ya go to put the back tire on if you got two people. Zip tie the caliper bracket to the brake disk. She just slides right in their. Hold the thing. Shove that axle pin in. May as well take off the rear fender. Save the time.
