Fork diameter
« on: Mar 24, 2017, 10:04:56 pm »
I'm going to add aftermarket turn signals, does anyone know the diameter of the forks for mounting brackets?
Thanks

They are 46mm.....good luck finding anything.  The Raider uses an odd ball size fork tube size that NO other bike uses.

I do have the stock ones, but not sure if I can get them on without taking things apart.

I got my fork ring spacers for Harley aftermarket lights from custom rider.

      Thanks
Customriders.net has adapter spacers so 49mm wlil fit, but they're $50!

Mortons' has 46mm clamps made to fit the Raider forks.  (Scroll down to the bottom of this page - there they are.)

I found them earlier, thanks! Not sure about their signals though, hopefully most aftermarkets will fit.

These clamps have a 5/16"  mounting hole.  I use them to mount a set of Custom Dynamics driving lights.
Turn signals with a 5/16" or an 8mm stem will work fine.

Do they look like they could be drilled out? I've found a lot that are 10mm.

The surface of the clamp where the hole is - is a 16mm square area and is 10mm deep.  So it looks like it could survive a drilling out to 10mm.
