Chrome bolts on the bullet cowl
« on: Apr 18, 2017, 08:59:19 PM »
Bullet cowl comes with black, bolts to hold the windshield onto the cowl.  I've looked but cannot find out if these can be purchased seperatly in chrome?   Any idea?  I'm getting my cowl painted red to match the bike.  I'm thinking chrome bolts would look better as my bike is the S.

Ace Hardware stores carry a nice selection of bolts.  Take one off and head there.  They have stainless steel or actual chrome bolts.  The chrome ones are more expensive, usually about $5 average per bolt but you can polish a stainless steel bolt to look like chrome with some mothers and a buffing  wheel.  I picked up 4 chrome bolts for my rear fender.
