Raider...by Mitsubishi
« on: May 18, 2017, 01:13:53 pm »
I was wiping my ECU down before boxing it up to send off.  One of the things I noticed was a little symbol embedded on the ECU:

If you think it was fun telling HD guys that the Raider is a Yamaha, how bad would it screw with them if we started telling them, "Nope, it's a Mitsubishi".

Yamaha probably doesn't make a lot of the parts for their bikes.  For all we know, it's also a Mercedes.   8)

Mitsubishi has an electronics division.  It's no different than finding a chip made by Intel or Motorola on our bikes.

I realize it's just the ECU that's made by Mitsubishi, but if you think about it, that's what makes the whole thing work.

Yep, which has nothing to do with Mitsubishi Motors.  They do however make electronic devices for many makes of cars to include Mitsubishi's...  ;D

there are alot of vehicles and bikes that use parts from mitsubishi elecronics probly you would be shocked to know how many things mitsu is involved in hell they even made the zero in ww2 iam a master elite tech for mitsu so when i get to go to class and we get off subject we learn about alot of other devisions and history but now nissan has bought into mitsu motors to try to help that part of mitsu recover because believe me they have gone down hill bad.

Mitsubishi also made a pickup truck called the Raider.
Sometimes it's a little better to travel than to arrive.
