I picked up a set of River Road from Tejas on sale. Hoping they wont take too long to get here. Nothing too fancy but they have zipper quick release and the backpack just isnt cutting it.

I haven't given it much thought. I was naive and bought them from the dealer at full price. I checked the Star website and they want $119.  How's $50 + shipping sound?

Sounds like a heck of a deal, but amazingly enough the wife actually approved a few more funds for this endeavour than I had planned on and I think I am finally going to be able to get the Easy Brackets that I have wanted.

I don't blame you a bit.  I'd go that way as well if I could've.  The QR backrest doesn't allow them.

No, Ray's (gostr8r) are the Corbin wrap-around bags. They are permanent.

If you want high quality hard bags that can be set up for quick release check out Tsukayu.  The Coner and Strong bags both look sharp on the Raider. I think it's the Strong bags that Paladin has.
