here is another option from m109 site. they used an oiling system from air compressors to do the reverse. Catch oil instead of send it out.  this would work for a hidden appearance.

I'm not sure i'm getting what the 109 users are doing.  Is that just a fuel filter?

ZOOM...

Looks like the same concept except is clear and acts as a catch can.  Looks like it also has a knob of some sort on bottom to drain fluid.  Like Wolfraider has said, it needs to be accessible, cause you drain it more than ya think and needs to have breather which it does.

When I ran a puke can on my Warrior I emptied it every fuel stop.  It collected mostly water but needed to be emptied often.

Is that normal to empty it every gas stop?
    I have big plans...

I'm doing the same. Pretty much every gas stop.

Sometimes it didn't need to be emptied, just a nice routine to establish.  It also depends on how the vent hose is routed before it reaches the puke can.  If I had my vent hose run higher than the vent before it reached the puke can, most of the vapors/moisture would return to the motor.

Pretty much. I just want to make sure its not overflowing, because then its getting messy! I had that happen a couple times in the beginning.  ;)

well if one were to wrap the breather vent hose from the rear cylinder up and forward on the frame under the tank then back down to the catch can it should be minimal. this is what i will be doing.

Budzo, I may be wrong (it happens alot) but I don't think you would want to let those vapors/oil mist to drain back into the head.
That oil mist is a mix of oil and water! I think water in the engine is a nono!?
Unless..... you added a crank vent inline wich would not allow a drain back.

I really like the looks of that catch can you found... very bling blingy!
If I hadent already done mine that would've been the one... dare I say it's sexy!

You're correct.  I was simply stating the amount of fluid in the puke can be affected by how the vent hose is plumbed.  Members that use a longer hose with the breather filter mounted as high as possible to avoid an oil mess on their engine are basically returning that crap to the breather.

Ahhh gotcha. Correct, mine is mounted low and close and I do get a fair amount of moisture in there. I empty mine every fill up out of habit and usually just get a piddle. Humidity plays a big part in how much is in the can also.  ;)

Am I correct in thinking that technically, if one ran their hose down to the kickstand area like I have, the hose itself would act as the catch can.  So really I just need to add an drain before the filter.

Yes.  I've attached a very rough drawing, but I think you have the idea already.
