I've always wanted to visit the Black Hills area. Took me 44 years to get there and didn't know if I'd ever get to go again. But since I work in North Dakota and work slowed, I got to make it back December 14th.
The iced water fall is Bridal Veil Falls in Spearfish Canyon. For those that remember it, notice they built a new observation deck.

You know, it wasn't that bad. We wore hoodies and were comfortable. We stopped for fuel once before Rushmore and the temp was around 40℉. Up at Rushmore about 20 minutes later it felt a lot colder though but still bearable in a hoodie.
