That seems way too thick to me.

You said "Here is a picture of 2 of them", but I'm only seeing one.   Did I miss something?

Just out of curiosity, why did you guys go with this spike that needs a plate made to be install it instead of the ones everyone else has used that require very little modification to install?

Because it was very inexpensive... :)  and now we get to make a custom plate for it... :D

In other words... They're cheap!

Just kidding.  I would've probably jumped on the sale as well had I not already had one.  Though I must say it was nice having mine installed within a couple days of receiving it.

I've been gone a while but how is this going? What all needs to be done still? Any updates?

I cut this bad boy out today, the design is obviously based on the previously drawn design, I cut it out of 1/4" stainless diamond plate, then in the center I cut a 3 3/8" hole, then I cut a 3 3/8" ring with a 2 1/4" cutout in the center. The ring was cut out of 3/8" material so there is a flat place to mount the SAC. The ring was welded to the back side of the plate.

I don't care for the diamond plate, but outside of that it looks great. I think I'd prefer the same design on a smooth surface.

I know I keep asking, but where are we at on these? Who do I send money to? I wanna get some smooth ones for powder.

I keep asking my buddy where he is at.  He has the material, I have the bolts. Just needs his CNC guy to free up some time.  I don't need any money till I get them done and I'd you get it elsewhere in the meantime, that's ok too.
I have big plans...
