I hope you didn't pay much for them...  but, at least they won't rust.

LOL yeah, the sponge is still wrapped around them. However, I spoke too soon. There's already a little problem I'm running into. I'll need to retap the right side hole at the base. Check out the bolt as it's stripping not even half way through.

Hey Bill, it was going well until then. I should've known the ol' cliche "too good to be true".

I don't have a tap set, I'm on my way to a parts store, maybe I get lucky and have it retapped. We'll see.

I've been reading through this thread and it makes me very glad I joined this community.  I hate that you guys had to go through what you did for a set of bars.  But at least everyone else knows that it would be best to take their business elsewhere.

Ok. so my best effort was fruitless. Still no replacement bars so, I contacted phat and they are swaping out some LA chopper bars for the other set. What can I say? I gave the man every chance in the world to do the right thing. ...
