Good point, Jughead. I'm a fan of hickory for bacon, but I can make room for apple and maple.  I'm all about whatever puts the sweet, crispy meat on my plate.

I've heard of that before.  Wouldn't dare try it.

Also a couple years ago Denny's had a ice cream desert topped with bacon.  I wouldn't dare try it either.  It sounds disgusting.
