Any new ideas for license plate mounts on rear

Got an integrated tailight, want to remove rear turn signals, it's a bagger and don't want side mount plate.
 Any other options been tried other than Kuryakyn, like any chop jobs on stock mount that look good?
 Got a cash flow situation and have a skull license plate frame I wanna keep unbent, and it's pretty good sized.

Are the bags permanent or quick release.  If permanent can you mount the bracket on one of the bags?  It could be wired up easy enough also.

They are the Saddleman XX-Jumbo qiuck release, extend back as far as the stock taillights. I noticed the one on the Tejas bike on home page of this site, is that a Kuryakyn, it looks kinda flat in the pic. Just took a look on their website but couldn't find anything like it listed.

Yeah, checked Raider Performance out, unsure if my frame will fit and I like it.
Probably try and find a used stock one and try to modify it, just in case I totally screw up.

 I had that frame  and used those nylon bolts that package said  will not come loose .  I went from my house to town 15 miles. Got their and no plate or frame . I searched never found either .  This was 2nd day I had lic.  plate and 1st day with the frame on.  Had to go  and buy another plate  .  Girls at clerks office thought was funny  never had a plate lost so quick .

This looks much better and for those of us who ride daily, a lot less likely to draw unwanted attention with a side mount. Cool.

I just bought 1" aluminum angle and cut/fabbed/bolted stuff together....
I have the same light up skull plate holder and the all in one LED tail/blinker assembly.....

It can be done and clean....

I've always wanted my plate to be switch controlled.  Slide out from the fender when the bike is turned on and have a handlebar switch to override and hide it if I needed/wanted to.  Would be much easier to do on a bagger since you could make it slide or spin to reveal itself. 

If it was me I'd put a vertical spinning plate on the left bag and another plate on the right bag featuring a LED raider middle finger or simply the words 'C Ya' or 'FU' or 'FTW' whatever you like.

Depends on where you live. Some places  you will get stopped for about any thing but a stock bike . I got a ticketed for aftermarket pipes on my HD (they were baffeled) He said had to be factory by law.  Yet he rode a crouch rocket with a 4 into 1 aftermarket(he hated HD's) .  Where I live now Police don't bother bikes .  We got ape hangers around here that belong on a playground . Yet some states say  15 inches or shoulder high.   Just depends on the cop.

I like that, but it looks too small to be a motorcycle plate.  I also love the taillights integrated into the paint.  Man, I need more money.

I think the top vid was from europe.  They make they for US size plates as well.  Personally I like the LCD one's where they are clear until you add some power and then they turn black or white so the plates numbers can't be seen.  Too bad they are like $500.  Would be perfect for red light cams and speed cams in AZ and here in LA.
