Any new ideas for license plate mounts on rear

this is absolutely THE cheapest license plate bracket in the history of anything... take off belt gaurds and throw in trash...then take drill bit to the tag and make hole. then take bolt from belt gaurd and mount plate underneath swingarm...when questioned by police tell them you are not on drugs but rather, on vacation.  pay ticket.....when pulled over again for same reason tell cop...'ah hey man, why ya hasslin' me man..i'm just sitting here eating a burrito'. pay second ticket...if you recieve more than 2-3 tickets a year for having not only the cheapest, as well as the coolest license plate bracket, you may then consider ''caving in' and going back to being a just another average joe bike rider. i am currently using the same sideways low license plate bracket myself, and i am looking forward to my first run in with the law. i am sure the cop will say ...'where's your tag'.. and i'll just point to the bike..he will then probably say..'you know you can't see it like that'.. and i'll say chya..where do i sign? big john

If you are going to have to pay fines then how is that the cheapest?  Or are you just going to skip paying the fines?  Either way it's not too bright an idea...

Not sure where you live, but in some states (cities or towns), improper display of license plate can not only mean a ticket, but can be an impound.  That becomes more costly very quickly and rather inconvenient.

a tag on the back of any raider is ugly. last weekend it was off with the lollypops, in with the blaster...business as usual, right? but then there was that pesky tag. putting an ugly piece of uncool tin on my chopper goes against every fiber of the american/hotrod/biker/rebel persona that i elude to represent. which begs the question.. these are factory choppers,  right? i guess i need to explain something here. i had a softail when they first came out and i well remember when 'the yuppies' came on the scene. over the years i see an infiltration of biker imposters [maybe there are a few of them riding raiders]  ...there seems to be alot of confusion in the world today..girls think that are guys....$4 gas instead of $1.19 a gal....my apologies..i didn't mean to digress...let's see if this makes sense. corvette buyers buy corvettes..animal lovers have cats...and this raider rider believes that there shouldn't be a tag on a nice chopper...i didn't vote for that law...no matter how you hold that tag up to a raider, it looks like **** and i for one refuse to pay $$$ for some other way to ugly. have you seen some of the prices they want for those tag brackets? SHALOAM...the most that tag deserves is a piece of all-thread off the swing arm at most.  i have a 600hp chevy truck and its not exactly tagged right, but so far the tickets don't outweigh the fines [5 years running.] i have an 07 cheyenne tunnel boat with the numbers in a bag not on the boat...never got a ticket because i don't go where the cops are. i'll keep ya posted on the bike. FREEDOM HAS ALWAYS HAD A PRICE. and cool has a price. don't cave in to the evil world system. big john
