What is "average" yearly mileage?

For my first three years, I totaled around 20,000 miles. Year 1 was 12,000 because of my job. Years 2 and 3 were much less due to job. Now that I am in Charlotte with another new job weather, I have put 5200 on my new Raider in 15 weeks, which is a rate of 18,000 a year. Considering I plan on at least two trips to FL with it in the next 8 months, I would say I will hit that easily. I have multiple weight coats and gloves, and chaps and riding pants, and I ride at 40 and sunny or above.

It will be 3 years on the 17th of this month I purchased the Raider. 40,600 divided by 3 = 13,533

Because of the weather and short riding season here in Idaho, I usually average about 7000 a year. I envy those who can ride all year, How would it be?

So had her now one year and at one year I had 14100 that's with not riding for 3 months!

4000-5000 a year but I live at the top of maine (caribou)and try not to ride in rain and like lots of riders work 6 days a week

i am about the same as raiderpete 4-5000 per  and also live in the same climate just north of MAINE  , also work gets in the way to often

After I got a company vehicle I don't drive my personal vehicles hardly at all.  Only about 4-5,000 miles/year between the 3 of them.  The Raider does get almost half of that though

OK guys, hold on to your socks, 4/11/2013 will be my 1 year anniversary since the state says the bike was mine.  I just went over 1025 miles yesterday...    As most everybody knows I didn't get my bike until Aug 2012 then had damage from the delivery and it took almost 3 months to get it fixed.  I didn't start riding daily until the end of Nov 2012.  Going back and forth to work I should average just over 6200 a year, throw in some weekend rides and a rally a year I should be around 8K to 9K a year.

I put about 7000 miles a year on my bike. But it's now in hibernation

     I put between 7 to 8 thousand miles a year, living in Ocean City maryland I will put about 5000 right in ocean city in the spring and summer lol

Oh c'mon Dan... It is possible, he would have only had to average 269.23 miles a day from 1 Jan to 3 Mar...
