Foot peg adapter help please !!

Hay guys I just got my ISO pegs from kuryakyn and the told me I needed the 8802 adapters for the front, I just mounted them with only one d spring washer I couldn't fit one on either side ,and set the set screw properly to get the peg level. My question is does this sound correct I ask because I thought we had to reuse the oem peg spring but with these adapters there is no where for them ,do I have the correct adapters ?? Thanks for any help, also if I do have them on correctly has anyone had any problems with the set screw braking with the weight of your foot on the peg ? Thanks again for any help.

I forced both D washers in and was concerned about the set screw brace.  I really torqued the bolts down and 2 years later have had no problems at all and I have stood on the pegs at times on long rides.  As for the extra parts, yep I couldn't put the springs in as I remember...no worries.

I a running swing wing pegs and I also had to really work both d washers in.  They both went in, but had to be persuaded to do so.  I also did not put the return springs on the new pegs.  I have 2 years on them, and have had no problems.

I'm also running swing wings but they were on the bike when I got it so I have no idea what that d washer is 
As for the set screws,they were adjusted waaayyy long and were bent and crushed all the way back.I got a pair of machine screws at the local hardware store (kury doesn't use metric tread) and installed that instead.They haven't moved yet,and it's been over a year.

Hay guys is it possible that kuryakyn makes a diffrent adapter for the front peg where we could use our oem return spring. The reason I ask is because on the Yamaha web site under accessories the front adapters look like they will accept the oem return spring ,and it has a totally diffrent part number does any have any info on this ??

My Kuryakyn pegs do not have springs on them either, and I relaced the set screw with a bigger screw with a head on it because I bent my original screws in no time.

When using aftermarket pegs the OEM return-spring is not used.

Hay guys one more quick question on the kuryakyn rear peg adapters is it the same set screw set up ?? Also if it is ,how does it look with the rear peg up and not being used is the set screw very noticeable ??
