Rememberance day today in Canada and Veterans Day in the USA.  I wanted to thank all of you who have served... and are serving, your country and the free world.

I was listening to a local radio station and one of the people being interviewed had asked a Canadian Vet what his tours in Afgahanastan meant to him.  He said: "So that young girls can go to school." 

In the past month a young girl there was shot in the head by a Taliban.  It has brought a wave of international attention to this fundamental right.

These military incurrsions are always motivated by power and greed - so I find this element of humanity refreshing.
