OK.... here's the reader digest version of what happened.


We had 7 ROM nominees of which 5 were "seconded".   
As a member of this site I chose to "second" brainsalad.
With 6 "seconds" I closed the nomination process and started the voting 2 days later. 

During that time I received several PM's from Bill stating that as an admin I had no right to chose brainsalad over him.  I told him that as a "member" I reserve the right to nominate/second like anyone else. 

Now.... again, that's the readers digest of what happened.

I saw that Bill was nominated but when it did not get seconded I assume Bill wanted to wait till he got his bike back. We need that man back he is the only one that post around here except AriesX  now that he is a moderator he wont talk to us anymore. 

Well... he told me that he would have declined anyway cause his bike isn't ready but said I didn't have the right to make that choice for him.... when I chose/seconded brainsalad over him.

He may have felt that you closed it to soon...before someone could second him....IMO....Either way thats weird for Bill

The nominations are always shut down as soon as we have 6 nominees with seconds and Mr T can second anyone he wants as a member of this forum, just because he is a moderator doesnt mean he cant nominate or second someone-JMO

Sure looks like it, it's definitely bills raider in the avatar, and in one if the comments he is talking about how the bars were to much of a reach and that's why he got new Bars with 13in pullback.  If it ain't him, it's somebody who knows his ride!

I tried to nominate him b4 but he kept turnin me down because his bike was n the shop. Kinda seems weird he would do somethin like that. But maybe he was havin a bad day. I would like to see him back to the forum though.

Bill has been a class act ever since he joined us. He has weathered a lot of good natured ribbing (dished it out too) over his time with us. First waiting to sell his HD and buy a Raider, then waiting on parts and shipping, then delivery issues. Yet through it all, I've seen an amazing attitude and he's taken the high road everytime something went wrong with his wait. I hope he comes back cause I still want to hear how he is enjoying his Raider once he has it all to himself. He's still got my respect.

And Mr. T, thanks for your transparency in sharing the reasons for his departure. I sure appreciate all you do for us. Respect.

We all joined up because we love our Raiders.  That is who we are and what we are. 

Bill is one of us  and he belongs here.  Let's get the axe out and hack a branch off the olive tree and get him back. Like mentioned above Bill shared his stories and we all lived through his challenges - triumphs - good nature - and unbelieveable patience.

A little heat between us once in a while is to be expected.  It happens when the pack is loaded with Alpha males - and that why we ride Raiders.
