He sure did devote alot of time to the forum to just pack up and go. Anyhow, I did enjoy reading his posts and wish he would reconsider leaving the forum.

I just created myself a profile on the Stryker forums just so I could send Bill a message letting him know we miss him.

It's all Cowboy's fault. Like he said, he left for a week and apocalyptic things start to happen: Obama, Patraeus, Jeff Gordon...and Bill leaves us.  ;D

Yeah. Kind of weird. I think being a ROM winner is quite the honor, but it's not enough to get my nose bent out of shape.

I get the drama part ... what I have a hard time understanding is the need to remove yourself from a forum. Why not just take some time away ... come back and give it another shot.

That's why I was thinking maybe Bill was just having a really bad day (or week). Deleting a profile over something like this is a very impulsive decision, and didn't seem to fit Bill's usual calm logic. I mean, through his entire Raider delivery damage debacle he's been pretty patient and level-headed for the most part.

Deyv; Yeah, we're still around Phoenix... planned to be out to Quartzsite/Bouse area today... but ran into a lil' turmoil. Was pulling out of PIR yesterday noontime and discovered some "axle issues" on our tired old fiver  :banghead: :censored: :censored: :censored: sooooooo.... we're rolling from my sisters place in north Glendale to an axle shop in Gilbert early this evening... where we'll be parked up until they can fix this wore out old trailer trashes house!  ;D

I have spoken to Bill and he realizes he was a bit trigger fingered in deleting his account but he would like to come back. Unfortunly he can not because he has been banned, which I believe is a bit harsh. So I think it's going to take a adminastrator to fix that issue. We need more members like bill here on the forum he has a lot to say and offer he has gone out of his way to help fellow members. He has donated parts from his bike build free to members to help them out

 :agree: I got a PM back from Bill on the Stryker forums saying the same thing Budaman just reported. He said as soon as the ban is lifted he'd be back.

I wish Bill nothing but the best, I never wish anyone anything else. He is a good guy, but all this really is weird. I rarely post  here but have followed his story from the beginning. He has made some very odd decisions throughout, and this last one really takes the cake. Bill loves an audience and all his dramatic actions ensure he gets it.

Weird is the only way I can describe him...
