Pics of the wheel tear down are at http://duanesmith.net/raiderrrearscraping.html

Looks like to me that I am missing clip 7 on the outside of the right bearing and missing collar 17 that goes in the left side bearing. That would explain the clunk inside the wheel and why the brake pressure allowed the right side bearing to push in.

Is the diagram correct? There are 2 collars - one long one short - between the right side bearing and the left side hub inner bearing? The little collar fits inside the left side needle bearing?

But why would they be missing? Someone must have had it apart before me...

Looks like a chrome wheel from the pics so somebody definitely had it apart before.
There seems to be a lot of metal shavings in the grease.Everything should be thoroughly cleaned and inspected before reassembly. And new bearings are a must. All of them.
The biggest mistake of my life was not buying a raider sooner
