Lots of new mods and dyno #'s!

I have some pics in the new member section of the bike stock before I deployed.  6 months later and she is done!  V&H exhaust, Kuryakyn tail light, big air kit, Mustang seats,  power commander, custom tune, Avon 250 rear tire and small internal work like sync the TB's, iridium plugs, etc.  Only thing's that weren't done were the chrome levers because Kuryakyn is a horrible company and not only fudged up the tail light but now they send me two clutch levers...morons.  The Throttlemeister cruise control needed stock grips so I have to order those as well.  Even in the 6300ft elevation living in CO the bike made 96hp/124tq!  It's an absolute beast!  Here are some pics. 

FYI this is Colorado Springs 6500ft elevation and we run on 91 octane.  RunFile_001 is the stock baseline and RunFile_0053 is the final.

Appreciate it.  Funny how sooooo much detail goes into doing something like a tail light or license plate but at the end of the day its just that.  LED License plate took 3hrs to install and look flush for example.

Very nice, but I would be willing to put money on the fact that you're NOT done yet.

I'm with Dreadly on the belt guard. Paint it or powder coat it.

yeah, agree with Ares, you are not done yet.  Even Bill isn't done yet.  Also agree that the upper belt guard should be powdercoated (probably about $25 or so) or painted (less than $10 and an hour or so labor).  Would look so much better.  Was the first mod I did on mine (painted it).  That was two years ago and still looks great.

Got about 100 miles on them.  They came with the fancy Yamaha seats that you spend like $800 for the set any those were hard as bricks.  Only problem is that my Yamaha saddlebags wont fit with the new passenger seat because of how thick it is so I'll have to modify the bracket for the seats when I get a chance and see if that works.

What do most people do?  Black?  I can powdercoat it like I did with some of the stuff on my sportbike but it seems like if I go black then there's too much black but if I go chrome then there's too much chrome, ha.  What to do, what to do.

I powdercoated mine to match the frame.  I like it a lot better because it doesn't draw attention, but then with my bags you can barely see it anyway.

i properly disposed of the upper and lower belt guard on my raider. got a blaster x in the ass end. then i drilled a hole in  the tag and used the bottom boss in the swingarm  to mount the tag completely sideways and almost on the ground. [where it should be]
while it may be true that it takes alot of balls to pull a stunt like this, i figure i'm good for 1-2 tickets per year before i cave in to the man. these bikes stand for something most americans THINK they would like be. us raider riders are the last of a dying breed of rebel american's, we are searchers and dreamers, almost in a fantasy world...but it's all very real. big john
