Hey guys, I'm in the Active Duty AF and I''m getting PCSd to moody in January. I've never lived back east or down south so i have no idea what to expect as far as anything goes. anyone care to share anything about the riding, or the area, or anything like that?

Valdosta is not a bad area....not as scenic as what you're used to - there are a lot of back roads to check out. Once you get settled in maybe make a run to Jacksonville we'll show ya around. Plus you'll be closer to Maggie Valley and maybe make it to the Rally

Oh i will for sure be making a run down to Jacksonville. There is actually a BACA chapter down there I hope to join. so i would be there quite a bit. I would love to make it to Maggie valley but i don't know if i will be able to get leave to do it this year but it is definitely on my list of things to do.

Welcome back Skidmark...how was basic and tech school? 

Lots going on in the south...pick up a copy of free Thunder Roads Magazine.
