Well I got the bright Idea to call my buddy who owns a Motorcycle Dealership in Lafayette, IN and sent him the pictures of this ordeal.  Asked him to quote me full price for a complete detail of my Raider.  5 Minutes later I had an email of a quote that was for $144 for a detail.  I then forwarded this to the company and told them this is what it was going to cost me to repair the errors of their employees.  I never received a response so I then called them...  No answer so I left a somewhat shitty voicemail.  I received a text message 10 minutes ago asking for my address they would send a money order my way in the mail for the $144.  Not very often I luck out like that.  Now they can pay me to detail my bike and buy me a BAK!     Thanks for the advice everyone!

Soon as you have the cash in the bank? I'd write and mail 'em a paper letter. It's not often companies stand up and do the right thing so quickly. Ones that do should be identified. Anyone can be "good" when nothing is wrong. It's when the SHTF that true character comes out

you could get a large caliper personnel assault weapon and annihilate any breathing creature within a 2 mile radius of your bike...but chances are the ass[es] that did that to your bike would be out to lunch. no living creature is worth the 'leafing' that your raider endured. what's this country comin' to? i would fing a better home for baby...big john

Every apt I have ever lived in, the parking was at "owner's risk". I was going to say unless you can prove it was intentional, the most you would get is a "sorry". It was its because of blowing leaves with a leaf blower them shut happens. It'd be no different than finding leaves around my Jeep.

That's why my bike doesn't stay parked outside.

It's going to Indiana to a heated garage for the winter.  I will find a better spot for it next summer.  I am considering a Enclosed trailer to use as a "Garage."

I would say that the fact that the Apt. complex was pissed and on my side helped a lot.  I put no effort into fighting this, the company basically paid at their own discression.

my 2 smaller bikes the 250 ninja  and Honda  are inside my house for winter. I have raider on porch as been in the 60's last couple says . As winter sets in I will enclose my porch with  heavy plastic  . I live in country and heat with wood . So that will be one more layer of protection.  Battary tender all ready in place and on fairly warm days will get a little riding in.

Sorry to hear about this but glad that was all that happened, when i opened the tread i thought someone may have vandalized your bike. Good job of following through to get a reasonable solution and get it back to pristine the way we all like our bikes to be.
