Thanksgivin Ridding and plans

Is any of yall gonna be doin any thanksgivin day ridding ? Where do ya plan to ride.  I may ride looks like its gonna be a pretty day and i dont think their gonna be many more through the year that i ant gonna have to bundle up layers and layers  but as soon as that food is ready.    As many stops as possible.  Thanksgivin and christmas is the two times of year my family is happy to have their own personal as they call me the 1 person  ( Locust Plague)

Only plans as of now are the wife and I are riding up to North Scottsdale on Friday for lunch at Twin Peaks where they're having Black Lingerie Friday. Then to a bike shop to check out heated gear (in case it ever does cool down) and then to pick her up some shoes at a buddy's store.  They're all within about two miles of each other.

i'm gonna sand those raider fork extensions with hot water or deisel fuel 800grit 1000 grit 1500grit and finally 2000 grit then i will hit em with 3m polishing compound then swirl mark remover then final glaze.......then i'll ride to avondale and pick up my strap wrenches....saturday i'll jack the front end up, pop those 12" extensions in, and then all that will be left is to streatch the brake lines and kick stand. yamachopper will be full effect. big john

Raider is in winter mode, today high was -9.  Presently sitting at -23.  Predicted for rest of week highs of -11 Wednesday  Thursday through Saturday highs of -8.  Lows of -27 Wednesday -17 Thursday through Saturday.

Sooooo,  I and the wife will going to Anchorage. Where the predicted highs are 18 to 19 and the lose are 8 to 11.  Oh yeah a warm spell might even take the Vstar for a ride there.

Oh btw in my avatar picture the white stuff behind the raider is snow, that picture was taken in my yard in June.

Well, this fell through completely.   Thursday after everyone left for Thanksgiving dinner, my tells me she's not feeling too hot.  By 8pm she's in bed and shortly after getting sick in the bathroom.  I was afraid it was food poisoning, which I was very worried about since we just fed 16 people, but her son and I were just fine.  Then she started complaining of muscle aches and dizziness.  I think she got some sort of stomach virus.  Then Friday she literally slept until about 6pm and then finally got up and took a shower. 

So no Twin Peaks for me.

Yup.  First time I've ever hung Christmas lights in a T-shirt and shorts.  Love Texas!
