Looks good . But it has car reviews. ?? Would that be changed over to something else ? Like exhaust ,parts, etc ?

Please note... It's not just the skin.
The whole format of the forum will change as well

If this is being done because of the spam attack...then I say no...we survived that..Mr. T is an active member and Admin and did a great job of keeping them out...and it takes an active member to protect the site not someone that drops in occasionally to make changes. If everyone agrees to the change fine but if not then leave it alone.

Well I have checked out the new board it it feels cold and unfriendly as most forums that I have seen. You watch how it will change everything for the people here. We made this forum what it is today and now they are going to take it away from us. I do not know if we have a choice but without us they are nothing. I'm on this forum many times through the day why because one it is addicting, two I want to see what my friends are up to take away this closeness and we will all drift off to cyberworld. :'(

Well I liked the looks of it but if it means losing contact with friends and family, which to me it is then I say no also but they are the owners, I don't think we have a say in what happens.

If we don't have a say then this board is going in the wrong direction

Ok I went back and looked at AdamD's original post....and it is signed Mo....Mo is the Admin on the Stryker forum....so are Mo and AdamD the same person? This is getting a little confusing....and BillL I'm hoping you meant to say " I certainly hope you are wrong RK"

I had a look at the Honda Rebel site and it looks like we do loose that sense of "Family". I wonder if Mo understands what's special about this site and the two other sister sites.

Might be helpful for us to post what we really like about our current framework so that Mo can see if he can incorporate them into the new framework. (I have a feeling Mo is being nice in asking for input, but the direction is probably a done deal just a matter of when)

So my points -
1. We get to see who has been posting a lot lately.
2. The pictures that people upload to their account show up on the front page. This is really cool because we probably have a high rate of pic viewing because if this. And because of the viewing traffic, I think we get to know each other better because I think our mods exppose a bit of our personalities.
3. Both of these points lend themselves to promoting a "relationional" or "family" environment.

What do you guys think? Let's give Mo some specifics that we would hate to loose so he can incorporate as much as possible in the new skin.

I read some of these posts and just have to scratch my head. Do some of really feel you are entitled to have some say in a forum where you have absolutely no financial interest in? Honestly, you'll leave because you don't like how it looks? The content isn't important? Amazing.

I just joined that Honda Rebel site I would advise to everyone else to join and see how it does not have that friendly feeling and how it is not easily followed like ours to stay intouch with your friends and see whats going on in the forum.

The whole format of the forum will change as well

I didnt know the whole format would change.  The skin looks kinda cool like up top but not the whole way the site is no.
I think that if anyone needs to have say it would be Mr T. He is an active member where Adam D is never online. He has taken care of us. The forum right now is working very well it seems . Mr T seems to keep us steered in the straight direction.  I am sure every one will agree with me that he hasalso. If not . Well ya tellin a story ;D
If this is for the scam attacks. I say give Mr T the nukes of software for that stuff .
Some prefer medicine. I prefer my Raider.
