Quick release windshield or a Batwing ?

I am going to get a wind shield pretty soon. Wich do you guys thing will be better the batwing or a regular shield . Either way i want a quick release. Can the batwing be modified to quick release . And do any of you guys have a quick release shield you wanna sell.

I went thru a number of windshields that were Okay, Then I got the Memphis shades bat wing. Would never go back. Wife on the back loves it I like it, looks good would not go back and it does come off in seconds .

The memphis shades sportshield windshield and batwing use the same mounting points. Takes maybe 30 seconds to switch between them.  Best of both worlds

For the Raider it uses the same quick release as my Memphis Shades shield, so I could easily swap the two between long and short trips.

Don't know anything about the difference between the Memphis and Wide Open customs, other than it seems as though the Memphis is several hundred dollars less (even after adding the windshield and the mounting brackets to the cost of 279.99 for the batwing itself..).

Am I missing something about it.. is it a superior product or just more expensive...?  _just curious_

The price difference is the wide open custom is an outside & inside fairing put together & the memphis is only an outside fairing. Both are nice fairings. I know I had 2 windshields (national cycle chopped & 2 up) & I really like the batwing alot better, alot more protection. I could take mine off easily & put a windshield back on but why. I guess its just what you are looking for.

I agree with Devy. I have the memphis shades and love it as does the back seat driver I have and it half the price.

ohh The main reason is I have seen the Wide Open Custom one, and not the Memphis Shade one.  I do like the rounded opening from Memphis better than the squarish one though.

I found one kinda like the batwing on ebay . But for a ton less.  Seems to do the trick. Not as high quality though as a batwing would be though prob. But looks better to me than the batwing does. Guss its a cross between a windshield and a wing
