Bar end weights
« on: Nov 25, 2012, 11:33:01 PM »
Replaced the stock grips with the Kury Iso grips and noticed that the the stockers had some pretty substantial end weights on them. The new grips are pretty light compared to the old setup.
Was just wondering if there's much difference in vibration because of this? (Bike is wintered already, can't really see for myself till spring  :'(  )

Nope.... I've not noticed it myself nor have I heard of anyone else complaining about not have the weights on the end.

Kury does have some weights you can put on the end of the grips. I think they have 2-3 models. I've got the bullets on mine.

They don't weight quite as much as the Yamaha ends. I'd say about 3/4 of the originals.

No weights in mine after switching to the Avons.  Noticed no difference in vibration whatsoever.

This is my shield. I bear it before me into battle, but it is not mine alone. It protects my brother on my left. It protects my city. I will never let my brother out of its shadow nor my city out of its shelter. I will die with my shield before me facing the enemy.

I have Supreme Legends grips, no weights were added and I have not noticed any vibrations out of the ordinary.
