I'll pass, but I know a co-worker who keeps making noise about getting an electriic motorcycle that would probably be all over these. 

In fact, I just forwarded it to him and he seemed okay with them except he's not sure there's enough protection there to shift.  He seems to think it takes a lot of force to shift.

I actually test rode a Zero electric motorcycle and it was pretty cool. I would never buy one, but entered a drawing with the hopes of winning it at a particular dealer - I didn't  . Interesting thing about it, though, was there was no shifter....one gear from 0 to 85 mph or so. Kinda like a two wheeled golf cart on steroids.

Be kinda cool to have an electric dual purpose dirt bike. For when another bad hurricane comes around . Hook it up to my wall and let her charge. While ever one else is in line.  Thats if my pannels would be able to handle the extra battery that is.

I actually see sandles/flip flops and shorts quite often in AZ. I always wear long pants, boots and full gear.

. I have worn shorts before, just not on the hi-way. I know I shouldnt!!!

Hahaha.  Love that they protect the toe for shifting but what if you go down idiot?!?!?!  Let that foot slide along the pavement and let's see how smart these really are.

Considering what my boots looked like when I did go down, I'm right with you.

But skin grafts and extensive rehab are such a small price to pay for having cool and comfy feet!

I dont get on a bike without a Full Faced helmet. Without one . Dont wear boots . But my shoes are usually leather .  Havent looked into riddin boots . (Yet)

You need to look at those riding boots, I was wearing leather shoes when I had my accident in 05, my right ankle looked like raw hamburger on the outside.  As I said, I will not get on a bike without boots on.

  I know I'll take a lot of flak for this but my usual riding attire is shorts, a t-shirt and sneakers. Sunglasses but no helmet.
