I'm just waiting to talk to the dealer today and see how much they charge for such a thing. It a new Slave cylinder is only $68, then I'll definitely just replace the whole thing.  it would be so much easier.  I may give this a go. The downside to me doing it is I have to wait for parts, but for all I know is the dealer will too.

Dealer opens at 10am, but I have a tool and some software to test at 10am, so I'll have to call after my testing.

It's a conundrum!!!  Do I lay out the hard cash for a replacement or do I disassemble the thing and learn something new.

The old dudes among us would take it apart to learn the parts and pieces and save some money as well. Whereas the young uns' that don't have the time or inclination will simply go the quickest route and replace the thing, never learning what makes it work.

Neither way is wrong, just depends upon your perception of things and your curious nature about what makes your scooter go.

Exactly!  I have no problem learning something new, but I also need my Raider to be running right now, so time is a factor.

I'm older and for a $70 part wouldn't hesitate to replace it. If it's pitted or scratched, it's no good anyway.

I briefly spoke to the service dealer and he's guessing around $200 total. He said removal of pipes could add to it. Then I have to get it there.  He also said he's really busy right now, so it could take up to 10 days before I get it back.  This is making me lean to do it myself quite a bit.

From the PartsShark diagram it's looking like I need #31, two #33s and a #30.   Is this correct?

I don't see any mention of crush washers.  Where do I get those from?

Unless I'm mistaken, just 31.  The crush washers are 90430-10005-00

I believe that 31 should be the whole thing . I may be mistakin though. May wanna get ahold of em and make sure.

So, I'm reading this thread and I apologize for being away for the past few months give or take but I have a couple questions if that's cool.

Have you duplicated the problem at your home with the bike on a stand?

Have you (and this is gonna sound super stupid) made sure the bleeder is tight and didn't wiggle loose?

I think that he checked the bleeder screw already. Not sure if he has found where its comeing from exactly though.

ask the service guy to check but generally when you get a new part like this it'll come with bolts and crush washer on there already (think of brake calipers)

If not I'm sure I have plenty of that crap available. I have changed my lines 3 times since I purchased the bike.
