Another stinkin' mirror thread

Okay, I now own a 2009 Raider.  I am liking it.  But, the only thing I can see in the stock mirrors is my elbows.

Is there a solution for the disfunctional rear view mirrors?  I like the OEM style, but they REALLY need to be moved further out from center.

What's the solution?

Get mirror extensions.  About $20 on eBay.  Moves them up and out.

Does anyone know if they sell a dampner for the mirrors for vibration . Mine get so bad sometime it just looks like a line back their.

I don't understand this problem at all. I'm able to position my mirrors to where not only can I see the sides, but I can also see when someone is directly behind me and I'm wearing a big, bulky leather jacket with armor.

Do you have your jacket unzipped?  If so, get yourself a boot strap for holding your pant legs down and attach it to both sides of your open jacket.  It keeps it in place, but still allows you to ride with it open.  It has helped me so much.  I used to get beaten to death from it flapping around while riding when the wind was bad.  Not anymore.

Its just to big for my body its self. Fit last year in the arms but this year its to short in the arms. Size 54.  Now air blows in my sleves unless i am layered up good. I gotta invest in another jacket.

Mine is the same.  The right side isn't as bad as the left, but occasionally it gets bad enough I cannot see anything behind me.

I just bought a set of flamed mirrors maybe to help the looks.    Dont know if anyone else on here has aset
