Raider cow bell
« on: Dec 05, 2012, 04:25:57 pm »
I was curious if anyone else has done so already. I was thinking about getting the signature Harley Davidson horn cover (cow bell) and putting it on my raider just to throw off people some more.

There are just some coils under the left side that can easily be relocated correct?

Anyone else already have one or thought about it? Seems like a cheap and fun little thing to do. Maybe even relocate one of the horns to be under it.

Find an engraver and have him/her engrave SLAYER on it.  Then when someone asks which model of Harley it is just point to horn cover. ;D ;D

Even better idea. Now off to find one in a motorcycle graveyard to use.

There are more than coils under the left side.  There are tip over valves and the fuel pressure regulator, too.  It isn't as easy to clean up as the right side.

They should all fit under the harley cover though.

What ever you do don't get a tat of the Harley logo, don't want whatever body part it got put on falling off or leaking oil.  HMMM maybe getting a tat on love handles would make them fall off. Come to think off it,  Leaking oil however may not be a bad thing, get a bucket and catch it then oil changes would be free. ;D
