I've pretty much decided to go with the VH 2-2. The FP is just too loud for my tastes, and for various other reasons. I really like the way they look, though.

L.T.T. and Scoob: Is there any functional reason y'all decided to ditch the VH and switch to FP? Or was it purely aesthetic and personal preference?

My main reason for switching was so I could remove my axle covers without removing the exhaust everytime. I also liked the looks of them-not too short and not too long. They are louder than my VH 2-1's but they are not obnoxiously loud. Nothing wrong with the VH pipes functionally.
Made a video of them with my cellphone last night-not sure how good the sound quality is.

Thanks guys. Scoob, the sound on the video is just fine. I love the look and sound, too. But for a few reasons, including not waking my children I wanted to go with something quieter than the FP, but louder and throatier than the stock pipes. I'm not really a fan of the Cobra swepts, and the VH 2 to 2 are just about perfect for my needs and tastes.

But again; as far as looks go, I prefer the Freedom Performance pipes.

I always like the looks of the VH 2-2's and was actually considering them when I decided to look for different pipes. Decided they were too long for me tho in order for me to have access to the screw that attaches my axle cover to the swingarm. They do sell quieter baffles for the FP if that interests you.

Hot damn now Amazon carries them?  They're now a full $75 cheaper than when I bought them, and I also had to wait 5 weeks.  I shoulda been a little more patient!  haha

Also, these pipes have a "flutter" sound to them, which you can hear in the 1st video that was posted.  Some people complain about it, it gets louder on deceleration, but I kinda like the sound of it.  Gives it some character :)
