New Pro-One Grips

I have been looking at these for quite a while and I finally decided to buy them. They are the Pro-One "Twisted" grips and I really like the look of these. Anyone have any experience with Pro-One grips? Good choice? I'm going to mount them on my stock bars for the time being, until I get a new set of pullbacks, and then I will change them out to the new bars.

I really like them but shouldn't the twists on the grips be going in opposite directions to make it look symmetrical?  Picture this as a representation of grips on a bar and which looks more natural?

Actually... they look correct to me.  The one standing on end is the left side.... with the outside end on top.

You are correct in that the one standing on end is the left side and the outside end is on top.  Now lay it down with the end opposite the right grip end and you will see that the twists go in the same direction, the left grip twist should go in the opposite direction to make it symmetrical.

Ahhh... you are correct sir.  And I too think they're wrong.  I had a pair something like those on my Warrior which you can see here... although you can only barely see the throddle side.

I've been using those exact grips for over 6yrs now.  Using on both my Roadstar and Raider.  Love them! Nice big diameter, hands don't slip even without gloves and comfortable for long rides.

You are right about the difference, but to me it isn't a big deal. I put them up end to end, and I think I prefer to have them the way they are. I'm fairly sure it was done this way to save machining costs for a different template on each side.

I just installed these babies and they look great and feel very comfortable. The install was a piece a' cake...very easy to change out grips. My only regret is gostr8r's 90¢ cruise control will not work anymore. I'll have to get a larger O-ring.

It wasn't about the money, it was about having to look around for an O-ring that will fit correctly. Best and cleanest little throttle lock around is a rubber O-ring that fits in the space between the hub on the inside end of the throttle grip and the cable/switch housing.
