2 inch Risers ?????

I'm looking at installing a set of "Rox Speed FX Elite Series Pivot Handlebar 2" Risers" - $66.oo -

I would like to know if anyone here has done something similar in the 2" range - as in - can you do it without having to change clutch, brake lines and throttle cables?

Check with Rable...he did the two inch and as I recall, said he had to take off the ignition cover and do a little re-routing of the cables, but they fit without adding extensions.

Looking over the risers and noted the ones you listed are 7/8 and i think our bars are 1 inch, or maybe not.

I definitely would like to get a slight rise and a bit of pulback for a little better comfort and I think the Rox Risers will do the trick if the current cables can handle it.

Had a nice chat on the phone with Rable and he explained what he did was buy the Rox chrome 2" risers - for the 1" handle bars and the results were about 1-1/2 up and 1-1/2 back.  He had to monkey stretch the wires and cables, but he has full unrestricted turn on the handle bars - and more comfort riding.

Installed the Rox Risers today.  Feels pretty good.  See what its like after a few miles.

Installation is straight forward - but - you need to remove the key cover and the 2 panels on the inside of the stock risers so that you can get some slack out of the wiring to do a safe install.

How exactly do these work.  It looks like the lower portion isn't knurled or grooved so how do they stay in place?
