I've been finding more than a few fellow RAIDER and WARRIOR riders in BOTH the Yamaha Star #161/Monterey-Santa Cruz AND the #209/San Jose/Santa Clara chapters. ANOTHER group that is fun to ride with is the SOUTH BAY RIDERS.COM..click-on GROUP RIDES and you'll find lots of rides posted in and around the San Francisco Bay and Monterey Bay areas...ALL groups are safe and have all levels of riders........P.S. Watch the South Bay Riders.com site as I'll soon (I'm BORDERLAND BIKER) be posting a group ride around the weekend of 9/8 (not sure whether it'll be Saturday or Sunday) that'll leave HOLLISTER and ride to BIG SUR by way of Hwy 25, THROUGH Fort Hunter-Liggett to the Pacific Coast Hwy 1 THEN North on Hwy 1 to the River Inn in BIG SUR....

I haven't rode lateley due to a foot surgery. I crushed my foot and my left foot second toe was dislocated, well that was two months ago and it was healing wrong, so my podiatrist put me in for surgery. She put a metal screw aligning the toe with the metatarsal. It's coming off around the Christmas holiday.
The advantage of riding with South Bay Riders is that we ride in groups of no more than 8 and although we're not outlaws, we ride pretty hard.
