Finally after a few hours of hair pulllin and runnin back and forth to the fridge to eat. I took off the rotor heat shield. Then i Finally got the rear rotor bracket to go on and got the tire back on. Got everything hooked back up . Then off came the tank (Again) ;D  Changed the plugs. <maybe i wont have as much trouble as i just did with th plugs . I think they got a bad batch and i recieved a few.> And while i was at that. I ran the wires to my cobra pro. Got on it . I road maybe a few hundred yards to make sure it was doin right. Seems like to me it gives it a little more takeoff. . May just be in my head though.  Came back cleaned it up a little bit and parked it in my shop. Where it sits  8)  Until tamar.

I walked into the garage and almost accidentally got on my Raider to elave for work and then I thought "Oh yeah. Still need to fix the slave cylinder."  I was bummed.  Strykered it again to work.

You doing the work yourself or waiting to take it in to the service shop?

Myself. Just waiting for the part to show up from SilverStreek.

I'm planning on removing everything and getting ready to go tomorrow even if the part hasn't arrived yet.  Then I can get a good feel for how everything fits together and determine exactly where the leak is coming from.  I can't really do it when I get home because it's almost dark and too much of a pain to set up a bunch of flood lamps.

Sounds like a good weekend project. Hope you get the part soon. I know what it's like to walk through the garage and see the Raider in pieces. I was off of mine for about two-three weeks fixing wiring issues and waiting for parts this past summer. Times like those I wish my wife had a Stryker I could procure.

Still trying to replace my handlebars. I was able to remove the fuel tank, rotated it clockwise and placed it on where the driver seat goes. I'm not gonna disconnect the fuel lines. I just hope they don't kink/crack.

Here're some pics

I need an advise here those of you who've done the task of gutting the cables from the handlebars.

My question is through what end do they come out. It looks like there's gonna be some splicing somewhere along the end of the cables close to where they mount on the frame?

Someone verify that for me please. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

chalomalo
