What do you do to your Raider today................

The idea of lengthening the forks appeals to me so much in combination of the tall bars and a lowering kit.
I've been holding off the lowering kit due fear of scraping even more and loosing shock absorption.

Fork extensions are cheap.

As far as slamming, you're not a heavy guy, so I don't thnk it would be a huge issue for you.

You could always go with Tricky Air, like Bill and adjust according to circumstances. I think his even has a remote?

Rode about 52 miles (42 degree outside) >> Brrrr....  to Tejas to get PCV intsalled and dyno run. Total: part, installation and tune $565.00. I got good deal thanks to Brent 
My current set up: K&N drop-in air filter, de-baffle stock exhaust.
Result: before: 86.56 max power; 109.71 max torque with lots..lots of popping when decelerated. 
           After : 91.05 max power; 118.35 max torque with less...way less popping.
Billy W. said it is very good result. But I'd like to hear from you all. What's your thought? Good? not good? so so?

the Tricky Air would be ideal, unfortunately that's an expense I can't afford. I'd really need to find me a money tree. Since I know a lot of members in this forum are looking for one, i figure my chances of finding it myself are slim to none.

What I did to my Raider today? I worked on routing the throttle cables. I had to tinker with it until I got to the trottle.
I tried getting to it from the side (pressure regulator cover) but it wouldn't come off. I tried yanking on it after removing the two side screws and it was still stuck. Since that side cover is made out of plastic, I didn't wanna brake it.
So I decided getting to it from the top - fuel tank relocated, and air cleaner removed. It kept me busy but since I'm on disability, I gotta do something.

Both the side cover and the coil covers are held secure by the bolts/screws and a plastic piece fitted into a rubber grommet rather snugly. You can gently but firmly tug on it and it will come loose. The plastic won't break as long as you're careful.

Ok so what I did to my Raider, not much due to the rain.
I put the air filter back and the fuel tank and tried hooking the throttle cable ends to grip and switch housing but lost day light.

On installing the throttle cables, I'm finding it a little challenging. I hope I don't have to remove the fuel tank and air filter out to get to the  throttle again and invert the lines.

I'm 90 percent done with the bike.
the front brake master cylinder and mirror is missing because the mirror seased in the master cylinder's bore.
a friend of mine is going to help me out he's going to remove it by heating it up with torch so he says.

I'm not too convinced that the Blvd windshield will work as far as looks go. The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced the Memphis Shade Speed Demon will work so much more.

By the way, I said I was 90% done, that's due to the master cylinder/mirror, and the throttle lines down at the throttle hook up. They have to be inverted - the grip accelerates going clockwise. So instead of pulling down on the grip, I push forward. I felt so stupid But then I wonder I could ever get used to riding that way. I can just see myself at a stop light revving it that way right beside other bikers they'd be

Thanks Creed,

Now if only I can figure out how to reverse the throttle grip rotation to normal. As it is, it rotates clockwise.

Any suggestions from anyone are greatly appreciated.
