I actually felt I got better results from Amsoil, but Mobil 1 was pretty close.  I did not like the Yamalube the dealer uaed.

I think most everyone is using 20/50.   Good luck finding it locally.  I know of two places that carry it regularly: one in Mesa and one in Tempe.  I tend to buy it from Mesa because they carry the gallon containers and I get a little price break because of it.

I've got a couple of AMSOIL dealers that I work with.. they get me pretty good prices... Let me know if you want any help in getting some.. If you're going to need to do the oil change soon, better to have the oil sooner rather than later...

So, what's the advantage of synthetic?

My understanding of it, from the postings on this board, is that the syth doesn't break down as quickly in high heat situations as the fossil does...  maintains it's effectiveness for a longer span of time.
