Well, I'm just going to go spend a little alone time in my garage now and try real hard not to whimper. I was doing okay today till this post showed up to remind me what's NOT happening today.   :'(

I think Alberta had record snowfall in November this year.  :o

Haven't been on a ride since October, most likely wont be until March before I will get out again.

I used to ride year round in my younger days.
It's just not worth it anymore.
Going to be a long wait for spring.

Stayed in, watched football and rain.

Got an unexpected ride yesterday for about 50 miles the long way to the gas station.  Last one though

Today zipped around the subdivision before ascending the ramp to storage :(

Really enjoyed this season so no complaints.  The seasons are a Midwestern thing you have to accept or move...

10-4 on that good buddy...I try, but it's just not the same as it was 30 years ago.

This is the worst time for me.

Was gonna say I didn't ride... but then that would be the tiniest of lies... I rode 'bout 100' and then climbed 'bout 42".  ;D

I had to load Sonja today for a camp move tomorrow... since I broke the Truck  :'( Knocked 5th gear out and I'm 70 mile or so above Phoenix. SO, in the morning I'll limp on down with 4 gears to a bit NW of town where I know of a good boondock 'tween Lake Pleasant and Wickenburg... and I'll be a lot closer to the place that's hopefully gonna put the tranny right... without me gettin' pregnant in the deal!  :o

Then... with the old lady flying back to Colorado wednesday... it'll be quite a bit of two wheels on asphalt till christmas... assuming the truck repair hadn't put me in debtors prison

Man, I really feel for you guys and gals that can't ride in the winter.  I do remember what it was like to have to park the bike until spring.  I hated it then and it still gives me bad dreams when I think about it now.
