Mine has 3 set screws.

That were probably hold a lot better. Just not as easy to hide.

    I thought it was weird that mine only had two, at first I thought it would when I found the two.  I was thinking the third would be down out of sight neat the bottom right but no hole, just smooth chrome.  Mine are spaced dead center top for one, the other is about 120 degrees from it on the inside left.  It holds solid, can't budge the tip at all when the bolts are tightened down.

    Yeah, mine is solid too.  I just always think three points hold better than two. Never had any issues with just the two.  But then I also add 3M tape to help as well.

      That's how mine is and they are chrome set screws. So u guys think I should bother with drilling the holes or cut it and lock tite the set screws and be done with it?

      I was able to wire cut mine at work in my free time and it turned out great. I like it much better this way.
