Yes, the L&M spoiler is okay.. but I'm not all for the cookie cutter bike, (Bill, your bike is no means a cookie cutter) hence why I didn't buy a H word! Not to mention I love making things by hand so why the hell not?  8)

Also, the L&M fits inside the frame, I want one that wraps the frame bars. Not a bulky wrap, something that will just simply wrap the bars. Here I go putting my foot in my mouth, but I just think the L&M looks too cheap for how much it is.

As for changing the oil filter with the chin spoiler, I'll look into it but don't want to sacrifice aesthetics for something we do every couple thousand miles?

The L&M Warrior spoiler never did anything for me. Even when talking to Chris at the Progressive Bike Show last year, he made mention that he would like to create a chin spoiler that was truly made for the Raider. I'd like to see them do something that really fit the style of the Raider. Maybe I'd find a new place to carry my tool bag.

I love the looks of mine.

Yeah... that's nice but... not really a chin spoiler..... there's no "chin".

I think it looks good. I was thinking of something similar, but am worried that about restricting airflow to the front cylinder. I am considering the L&M and then maybe hide the roll over valves behind it. Since I moved my coils under the tank, I havnt found anywhere to hide it. With that said, I dont have it on. Where are others hiding it after relocating coils? Do I really need it? Is it required by law/regulation?

Wouldn't be hard to make your own Chin spoiler.  Grab some thin steel and get shaping.  Alum would be better but most people don't have the welder for it.  The thing I didn't like about the L&M is that it is actually made for the warrior (at least that's what I read).

I like the looks of this one. I see the photo didn't post with the quote so it's attached. Shouldn't interfere too much with air flow and maybe enough room underneath for easy filter access. If not, dzus fasteners work very well to make a spoiler removable.

No offense to L&M but I don't like their spoiler. Brian built one that looks pretty cool for his recent bike. Maybe that one can be turned into something closer to my likes.

I would like to find one that would work with the lindby linbar highway bars. Want a chin spoiler but love my highway bars, and here they won't work together.

I didn't know that.  I'm guess the problem is where it mounts at the top?

I am pretty sure I read that on a thread here that they would not work together. At least the l&m. I would think you could modify to work but I'm not sure.

Just buy yourself some 3/16 round rod and get to bending the shape you want and cover with sheet
metal. I made this one back in 09.
