Lets say next year I want to put a 240 on my Raider.. Does anything special have to be done or can you just roll up to your fav dealer and have em slap one on?..

Actually you may have to slap the dealer a little as well because I had to convince my rep that it would fit.  Now he recommends it to other Raider owners.

And don't make it sound like you have doubts about putting a 240 on.  You're going to love it for looks, handling and longevity.

I believe the Avon 240 is a little less than 1/2 inch taller than the stock 210

Buy it now!  They're still on sale for about $170. Chances are your dealer won't have it in stock so you'll need to order one anyway.

After the 240 you will never run a 210 again and can't  figure why Yamaha did not put the 240 on to begin with
Freedom Performance  Sharp Curves Bullet cowl, Full Wrap front Fender, RC Savage Eclipse wheels, Ultimate  seat, Autometer  Pro Cycle
Tach, lowering bones and progressive spring, Ivan's flash, K&N filter with open air box, Avon Cobra Chrome  tires

OK so I shouldn't have a bottoming out prob then. If my suspension is set on firm...... Of course I didnt not get the spanner wrench used to adjust the suspension.. so far riding 2 up 24/7 we have had zero problems.. I hope with a 240 if I hit a dip-a-dee-doo in the road I wont hear rubber on my fender... right?.. Now any particular brand of 240?.. I am Metzler now front n back....

If your bike is not slammed you won't have any trouble at all riding 2 up with the 240.
