Navy ROTC at Marquette University 1982-83. Hardly counts, but I did spend 8 weeks at sea on active duty. Had a change in career paths that or me to teaching music.

I should have made that more clear, the only one in my family, my grandpa was army, my dad was navy, and I was the only marine ever. But its all good, no matter where you served at least you served.

I should have made that more clear, the only one in my family, my grandpa was army, my dad was navy, and I was the only marine ever. But its all good, no matter where you served at least you served.

Too cool, My step dad was a Marine, that's what gave me the calling.  My dad was Army, my older brother Air Force, my twin sister Navy, my younger brother Army.  I guess you could say we were a military family...    If my older sister would have joined the Coast Guard we would have covered every branch...

That's awesome,I forgot to mention my son flies Blackhawks for the idaho national guard. Very proud as you can tell.
