You obviously don't live in the desert. When the air is dry and very hot the faster you go the more it feel like your face is being sanded off.

Yep been there done that It just feels like being in side a hair dryer when it gets that hot.  My solution...... More beer stops ;D ;D ;D

I don't experience that hair dryer effect, when I am moving I don't really feel the heat like that at all.  Sure it's warm but nothing I can't tolerate easily.  Riding home from Phoenix after my visit with Taildragger it was 113 degrees, only when I stopped for gas did I then feel the heat and it was immediate.  Once I got back on the bike after getting a drink it was fine again.
