After reading this, This gives me more confidence at tackling this installation this weekend    So the 3/8th heater hose is required?

If you are asking if you need to buy the hose, the answer is NO.
EVERYTHING you need comes in the kit. 

If you are asking if you need to connect the hose to the crankcase vent, the answer is yes.

Oh ok, I just read up in the other replies about someone saying that you had to buy like 3foot of 3/8th heater hose to add to the kit. So I wanted to be sure before I started this i had all my t's crossed and I's dotted. Thanks!

If you want to do something other than what comes in the kit, you need to buy it.  the kit works fine unless you have a lot of blowby.  You can deal with excess blowby in a number of ways including redirecting the vent to the ground.

Well this is done! Took about 4 straight hours and a run to orielly's to get completed. A couple of nice aggravating moments BUT its done    Bike sounds so much better now and seems to have some more pick up. Just gotta get a new map installed on the bike now!
