For anyone like me who thinks the left side of the engine and belt pulley cover are boring here is an idea for filling in that section (see photos). This is a belt buckle I mounted inside that center circle area. Below is a link to where you can buy the buckle. All it takes to mount is to pull off the pulley and pull out the center piece. The buckle almost fits in exactly, but you will need to pull off the belt buckle part of the underside. I just just used a wire snip pliers to do this, and you will need to metal file a little along the outer round edges of the buckle so it fits snug into the round hole.
If you can fine some other decorative buckle that fits, go for it! Please post any photos or your version of this mod for others.

Not to jack your thread but what kind of seat are you running? Thx

That looks really good there.
I used to have a very similar belt buckle on the opposite side of my first Raider.

I’ll bet it’s a Mustang. Took a peak at his gallery and found photos of it titled Mustang.

:agree: Nicely done!

Wow, that looks custom made! Very nicely done!

What an awesome idea. Looks great. If I hadn't already put bomber covers on my son's bike, I'd be tempted to do something like this just to mess with him.

That is one gaudy frog.

The seat in the photo is a Mustang Wide touring seat. It was on the bike when I bought it used and I've since sold it (don't like the look--to fat). I can't say if Mustang still makes these if you were thinking of buying one.

What a trip! I bought that exact buckle to use on my VStar 1100, but never ended up using it. Great minds think alike! 8)

Here is what I put on the other side. It's the star cut from a tank emblem off my VStar 1100,
