there are some real true blue bikers that appreciate
all bikes for what they are. We know a few that can
appreciate our choice of bike and we appreciate theirs.

Its complete opposite end of the scope that gets me....lol

Had another good one today...I pulled up to a traffic light and a guy was walking by all decked out in HD gear, as well as his wife. He had EVERYTHING harley on. They walked by and I see them in my rearview mirror - they turned around and walked back up to me still sitting at a red light. The guy pulls a camera out his pocket and snaps 3 or 4 pictures and says, "Nice ride man, is that one of those Raiders?"  Gotta love the respect and admiration we're starting to get, even from the hardley people.  O8O

I posted this earlier, but it probably belongs here.:

The Patriot Guard Riders escorted the Wall that Heals across NC today.  Over 50 bikes at one point, half leading the way and half providing rear guard.  Nearly all of them were Harleys (as expected) but there were a few "ringers".  Indian, Valkyrie, Boulevard, Gold Wing,...all veterans, all cool heads.

When we stopped, my Raider got a lot of attention. It was fun to talk to one rider about my bike, he'd go get two or three more...you know the drill.  One lady rider circled around it for 15 minutes and must have taken a dozen photos.  Makes a guy proud.

Hell yea!  The looks draw them.  Then they always ask my favorite question...how big is that engine?  ;D

This past weekend on a ride sponsored by my local dealership (20 or so bikes mostly raiders) while stopped at a light a car full of hotties rolled up beside me and said "nice chopper Mr." I really didn't have a vocal response but I think the ear to ear grin on my face said it all lol.

I'll bet you came up with all kinds of things to say after they were gone though, didn't you?

Yesterday a full dresser yammi stopped beside me at a light. First question was " What is that...?"   heheh.

      I said " same as yours, a yammahamma " He then says " oh its a 1100? "

       I smiled snickered and said. " um no.. its a 1900 ".

My friend bout went bug eyed and says " WHAT? " .

Just then, the light turned green. I just had to let him see the power in action so I laid into her through a couple gears. I was runnin low on fuel so, I stopped at the gas station just up the road. I noticed my new friend as he passed by the station. We waved at each other and he gave me a honk as he drove out of site. I went straight from filling up to my local dealership for some grip glue. Guess who was right there in the showroom sittin' on a red S?

I think he had to get someone to drive him back up to get it lastnight...  ;D ;D ;D  WOOOT WOOOT WOOOT!

I told him about us but, he doesn't own a computer. Anyway, he told me about a local group of riders who get together in F'bug. Cool dude.. good times!!

I was out riding last Saturday and stopped to put gas in at a convenience store and as I was putting gas in I could see the cashier standing at the window looking at my bike. I went in to pay for my gas and the cashier says to me "is that one of those Screamin Eagles?". I said no its a Raider and its much faster than one of those Screaming Eagles!
