Incorporate more chain into the bike. I think it could look good if done tastefully. Welding links of a spinning chain from a drilling rig together was an idea I had to replace my shift linkage rod.

I have one like that  ;D

      Outstanding!!! Been thinking about doing that for a while now.  Of course, now I'll have to do something different. Perhaps a big sprocket style chain? (seems out of place on a bike with no chain :- )
